I grew up in a very healthy household, with a mother that always read labels and fed the fam- ily nutritious foods. Physical fitness was always a family affair as well. A ninth grade home- ec teacher saw my vast knowledge of nutrition and suggested a career as a dietitian. I have been a Registered dietitian nutritionist for 20 years and know first hand, the struggles with making healthy lifestyle choices long term. Unfortunately, that passion to educate and mo- tivate others to become healthier and happier has taken me away from my family and loved ones for far too long. I started this business so that I could spend time with my family, and see my daughter grow up, without sacrificing my passion to help others. Not only is this an online market to save time, frustration with crowds and lines at the shop- ping centers, but this is a site where people can find reputable, healthy lifestyle, and nutrition information and products from a highly trained and credentialed expert in this field. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Diabetes Educator, my vision is to motivate people to improve their health and well being through education, encouragement, motiva- tion, and or product recommendation. Although this does not replace a physician ordered, formal, medical nutrition therapy session, I hope it will be a kick start to set and achieve even the smallest of health goals, which is the key to continuing on the right path of one’s health and wellness journey.
